Harvey Taphorn is a public speaker (including Stand Up Comedy), worked in the information technology sector, and has been a consultant. Consulting areas of expertise were:
Business reengineering, Audits, ISO assessments, Process improvements.
Mr. Taphorn believes that while many businesses can be reviewed and have reports generated as to what technology or processes need to improve, it mostly boils down to management workload, commitment, and skill level. Harvey discovered Crestcom in 2004, and was immediately drawn to its capability to provide Management Skills 101. So many companies have trained their accountants, their engineers, their computer people, etc., but not their managers. Or, companies have Management graduates with internationally approved theoretical and academic prowess, but fall short on the implementation side. Crestcom's blended approach to training fills the gap:
